Auditor Account Creation
Security administrators can create an auditor login for their account. The following steps demonstrate how to do this. A Security Administrator can create the user and there is a minimal charge for a month. When no longer needed, the Security Administrator should disable the account. Please note: accounts set to the Auditor discipline will not have access to the full Chart Face. When accessing a patient chart the auditor will be directed to the Documents tab.
Go to Settings + Directories from the Chart Room.
Next, go to the Security Center and enter your ICANotes password and then click OK.
Click Add User.
Please complete the following steps in creating the auditor account.
- Add name (suggestion to keep generic for use at another time).
- Username: Important that the word 'auditor' be within the username. An option is to use group name and auditor.
- Please be sure there is a unique password.
- Enter email address of office.
- Phone number of office.
- Group administrator privilege (suggested to use no).
- Specify full or part time.
- Auditor must be used as the discipline.
A popup window will show asking for confirmation of creating the new user.
A confirmation popup will show next.
After the account has been created, return to account to set Permissions/Restrictions accordingly.
The following is suggested for privileges and restrictions.
Once the audit has been completed, go back into Settings + Directories and disable the account.
