Copays Owed and Copays Received and Owed Calendar Reports

We added a new calendar report "Copays Owed" to both the new and legacy calendars. The report shows Attended events that have a copay amount due but no received item. The report is broken down by patient.
 
 

Accessing the report

 

1) From the Chart Room, click on the Calendar button.

 

In the New Chart Room layout, this can be found on the left side, underneath the Message Center:

 

 

From the Classic Chart Room, this can be found on the right-hand side, below the Create New Chart button:

 

 

 

2) From the Calendar, open up the Reports menu.

 

In the New Calendar, this button is located at the bottom of the group of buttons on the left:

 

 

 

In the Legacy Calendar, this button can be found in the top-right, near the +new button:

 

 

 

 

3) From the Reports menu, select Patient Copays Received / Owed:

 

 

 

 

Running the Report

 

There are three options available in this report: Copays ReceivedCopays Owed, and Copays Received & Owed. The report can be filtered by date, location, provider, and appointment status.

 

 

Copays Received (after collecting copays):

 

This report will show copays that have been received for appointments within the specified parameters.

 

 

 

Copays Owed:

 

This report will show copays that have not been payed for appointments within the specified parameters.

 

 

 

 

Copays Received & Copays Owed:

 

This report will show both the copays that have been paid, and the copays that are owed for appointments within the specified parameters.

 

 

 

If no results are available for the report type selected, a list of all appointments will be generated instead.

 

For example, if we were to run a Copays Received report, but no copays have been received, a message will appear:
