How to Copy Note Contents

Overview  

This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to copy and paste content from a compiled note in ICANotes+. 

 

 

Copying and Pasting Note Content 

You can copy content from any of the following note types after compiling them: 

 

  • Quick Note
  • Case Management
  • Couples/Family Therapy
  • Progress Note
  • SOAP Note
  • Complete Evaluation
  • Discharge Summary
  • Clinical Summary

In this guide, we'll use the Progress Note as an example.

 

Steps to Copy Note Content 

1) Open the client’s chart and navigate to the notes section. You will see all the notes created for the client. 

 

2) For the finished notes, click the Compiled Note button, as shown below.


 

 

 

3) Once the compiled note is open, find the Copy to Clipboard button in the top-right corner of the note. 



 

 

4) After clicking the Copy to Clipboard button, a confirmation message will appear, indicating that the content has been successfully copied. 

 

 

 

 

5) You can now paste the copied content into any document or text field. See the screenshot below for reference.
