Restoring Deleted Notes

Overview

This guide explains how ICANotes+ users can restore deleted notes from a client’s chart.

Steps to Restore a Deleted Note

1. Navigate to the client’s chart.

2. Open the Chart Face tab.

3. In the notes section, locate the filter dropdown.

4. From the dropdown list, select Deleted Notes.

   • All deleted notes for the client will display.

5. Find the note you want to restore and click Work Area.

   • When viewing a deleted note in Work Area, all buttons will appear grayed out. You cannot edit until the note is restored.

6. In the top-right corner, click Restore this Note.

7. A confirmation prompt appears. Choose:

   • Confirm to restore the note.

   • Cancel to exit without restoring.

8. If confirmed, the note reopens in Work Area with editing enabled.

9. After making changes, navigate to the final tab of the note and compile it as usual.

In the client’s chart, open the Chart Face tab and select the notes filter dropdown.

 

 

 In the dropdown menu, select Deleted Notes.

All deleted notes for the client will display. To restore a note, click Work Area.

 

In the top-right corner, select Restore this Note.

When viewing a deleted note in Work Area, you cannot make changes—all buttons appear grayed out.

 

 

When you select Restore this Note, a prompt appears asking you to confirm or cancel the action.

 

If you select Confirm, the note reopens in Work Area, and you can now make changes.

 

 

When finished, go to the last tab of the note and compile it as usual.
