Schedule an Appointment in a Client's Time Zone

Overview

You can schedule appointments based on a client's time zone. This allows you to view your calendar in the client's local time and select the appropriate appointment slot.

Schedule an Appointment in a Client's Time Zone

  1. Go to Calendar.
  2. Select Daily, Weekly, or Monthly view.
  3. By default, the calendar displays in your configured time zone.
  4. From the Time Zone dropdown, select the client's time zone.

    Note: The timezone shown in this dropdown is defaulted to your browser's timezone which uses your device's time zone. If your device's time zone changes while traveling, the Calendar automatically updates and displays appointments in your current local time.

  5. The calendar updates to display times in the selected time zone.
  6. Click an available time slot.
  7. In the appointment panel, enter the appointment details.
  8. Click Save.

Example

Suppose your client is located in the Alaska Time Zone.

  1. Select Alaska Time from the Time Zone dropdown.
  2. Schedule the appointment as you normally would.
  3. The appointment is displayed at 9:00 AM in Alaska Time.


After saving the appointment, you can switch the calendar back to your own time zone. The appointment time is automatically converted and displayed based on the selected time zone.

For example, an appointment scheduled for 9:00 AM Alaska Time appears as 1:00 PM Eastern Time (EST) when viewing the calendar in EST.




FAQs 

Can I schedule appointments for clients in different time zones?
Yes. Select the client's time zone from the Time Zone dropdown before scheduling the appointment.

Does changing the time zone modify the appointment time?
No. Changing the time zone only changes how the appointment is displayed. The appointment remains scheduled for the same point in time.

What time zone is displayed by default?
The timezone shown in the dropdown is defaulted to your browser's timezone which uses your device's time zone. If your device's time zone changes while traveling, the Calendar automatically updates and displays appointments in your current local time.

Can I switch back to my own time zone after scheduling an appointment?
Yes. Select your preferred time zone from the Time Zone dropdown to view the calendar in that time zone.
