Overview
Go-Sessions makes it easier for new or existing clients to complete forms in your office using a tablet, without needing to use the Client Portal. A practice user can start a Go-Session from the client’s chart, select the forms the client needs to complete, and provide a tablet for the client to fill out and submit the forms.
After the client submits the forms, the completed forms are available in ICANotes+ under the Documents tab and in the client’s chart face.
When to Use Go-Sessions
Use Go-Sessions when a new or existing client needs to complete forms while physically present at your office.
Go-Sessions is especially useful for:
- Collecting intake forms from new clients during their first visit.
- Providing clients with a tablet to complete forms in your office.
- Collecting additional forms from existing clients during an in-person visit.
- Allowing clients to complete forms without needing to use the Client Portal.
How Go-Sessions Works
A practice user starts a Go-Session from the client’s chart and selects one or more forms for the client to complete. The practice user then authenticates the client using the scanner and provides the tablet to the client.
The client completes and submits the selected forms on the tablet. The client must complete and submit the forms within 3 hours of starting the session.
After the client submits the forms, the practice user can verify that the forms were successfully submitted and view them in the Documents tab and in the client’s chart face.
