This KB article includes the new features released in ICANotes+ version v6.10. 

 

 

Introduced Medical Record Number (MRN) Field - A Unique Identifier   

We are excited to announce the addition of the Medical Record Number (MRN) field in ICANotes+. This automatically generated field serves as a unique identifier for every chart, ensuring each client has a distinct identity. The MRN field is immutable, enhancing communication and coordination within the practice.

 

 

 

In the search bar on the top, you can enter the Medical Record Number (MRN). This will display the corresponding client details, as shown in the screenshot below. Click on the client details to navigate to the chart face.

 

 

 

 

You can also search for clients using their MRN in the chart room. Enter the MRN and click the magnifier icon as shown below. This will redirect you to the corresponding client's chart.
