You can now edit service code details—such as service codes, modifiers, units, and amounts—without changing the note’s compiled status. This update allows you to make corrections or adjustments after compiling a note without triggering a status change.
You can update service code details in a compiled note by following these steps:
Go to the client’s chart.
Click Work Area for the compiled note.
In the Service Codes section, edit any of the following:
Service code
Modifier
Units
Charge
Click Done.
Return to the chart face.
The note remains in the Compiled status after you save your changes.
The Co-Signature section on the dashboard now remembers your preferences, allowing you to resume work faster. Previously, the co-signature toggle and clinician filter were reset when you navigated away or logged out. This enhancement reduces extra clicks and helps you continue reviewing co-signature requests without reapplying settings.
The system now retains the following Co-Signature settings on the Dashboard when you log out and log back in:
Co-Signature toggle (On or Off)
Clinician filter selection
Your selections are automatically restored so you can continue reviewing co-signature requests without reapplying filters.
Preferences are saved per user, browser, and device.
If you sign in from a different browser or device, the settings return to their default values.
If the previously selected clinician becomes inactive or disabled, the dashboard defaults to your own user.
If you turn the Co-Signature toggle On and select a specific clinician, then log out and sign back in later using the same device and browser, both the toggle state and clinician selection are retained.
You can now share custom buttons with other users in your practice. This enhancement lets you control who can access a custom button by sharing it with the entire practice, users in specific disciplines, or selected users.
When adding custom content to a note, use the Share and Access Settings option to define how the custom button is shared.
The following sharing options are available:
Don’t Share – Keeps the custom button private.
Share with Organization – Makes the custom button available to all users in the practice when they open the same note type.
Share with Discipline – Shares the custom button with users assigned to selected disciplines.
Share with Users – Shares the custom button with specific users you select from the practice user list.
You can now update an insurance type directly from Payer Settings, making it faster and easier to keep insurance information consistent across all affected clients. This update reduces repetitive work and helps ensure insurance information stays accurate and consistent across your practice.
A new Insurance Type field is available when editing an insurance in Payer Settings.
When you update the insurance type at the payer level, the change automatically applies to all clients using that insurance.
Updates made from an individual client’s insurance record also stay in sync with Payer Settings.
Insurance type updates are reflected in applicable claims based on their status.
Updating an insurance type does not change claims that have already been submitted.
If a previously submitted claim is resubmitted, the claim will use the updated insurance type.
Claims that have been generated but not yet submitted will automatically reflect the updated insurance type.
You can now return to your Worklists without losing your place. Previously, when you navigated away from a billing worklist, your filters, sorting, and page number were reset. This enhancement reduces repeated actions and helps billers resume work quickly.
When you use the browser Back button, the system now restores:
The same page or tab you were on
Your applied filters
Your sorting selections
This update applies to the following tabs on the Dashboard:
General
Billing Worklist
Payments Worklist
Your settings are retained per user, browser, and device.
If you switch to a different browser or device, your filters and sorting preferences will not be retained.
