1. A Security Administrator needs to activate the 'Show Supervising Provider in Demographics' rule in the Security Center under Group Rules.
2. A Group Administrator then needs to go to Group Level Settings & Directories Insur Payers tab and select the insurance company that needs the supervising provider's NPI. In my example, I am using Cigna. I select Cigna on the left and then click anywhere within the Professional field on the right for the popover to open.
3. A Group Administrator then needs to activate the 'Add Claim Level Supervising Provider' rule.
4. Click to save the changes.
5. A user can go to the Other Contacts tab in Demographics to add the supervising provider and NPI in the tab area provided. Click the button to save the information and return to the patient's Chart Face.
6. When an ANSI is run for the patient with Cigna, the Supervising Provider's NPI will show.
