Group Rule: ICANView CCD Renderer

This Knowledge Base Article will demonstrate how to view CCDs with the ICANView CCD Renderer. To have this group rule enabled for your group, please contact Support. A Security Administrator can email the request to have this feature enabled to ticket@icanotes.com.

 

1. Go to the Documents tab. 

   

 

 

2. Within Clinical Documents, the following areas can be pulled up in the ICANView CCD Renderer. Look to ensure the file is an .xml and the category is Continuity of Care.

  • any referral note
  • CCD - Chart
  • CCD - Encounter
  • CCDA files

   

 

 

3. Click the View this Document button. 

  

 

4. This will show the new ICANView CCDA window. 

 

5. Click on the Table of Contents to choose which content you want to show.   


6. You can drag around the content to where you want it on the form. 

 


7. You can delete content by clicking on the X in the window of the area or by using the Table of Content.

 


8. The Table of Contents is where you can manage the placement of the individual fields.. You can also restore the original order, show all the content, and collapse or expand all content. 

 

  

9. You are able to collapse individual areas by clicking the first icon.

 

 

10. The second icon will move the content to the top left of the window.

 

 

11. The third icon will move the content down one place to the right.

 

 

12. Clicking the Patient Detail button will open the patient information area (Shown expanded below). 

 

 

 

Please Note:

  • Changes made to the CCD here will not affect how patents are able to view their CCD on the Patient Portal.
  • The changes you make are saved and can be pulled up next time you pull up the CCD.
  • Resolution and zoom will contribute to how the ICANView CCD Renderer looks on your window.
