How to Create Letterhead

How to Create Letterhead

Overview

When compiling notes, the default practice address is displayed in the header of the compiled note. You can adjust its alignment from this section. Additionally, you have the flexibility to customize various aspects such as font size, font type, bold, italics, underline, and more based on your preferences within this section.

Configuring the Note Header (Letterhead)

To configure the note header (letterhead), go to Settings > Practice Information > Letterhead, and click the pencil icon as shown in the screenshot below.

The Formatting Letterhead screen will appear as shown below, divided into two sections:

  • In the lower section, you can enter the details that will display on the notes header, such as the practice name, address, contact number, and more.
  • In the upper section, you can format these elements. For example, you can adjust the font size and make the practice name bold, import your practice logo, and set the alignment of the header—whether left, center, or right-aligned on the notes header.

Note: The following fields can automatically populate in the note's header if entered within curly brackets:

{{practiceName}}

{{address1}}

{{address2}}

{{city}}

{{governingBody}}

{{postalCode}}

{{phone}}

{{fax}}

You can add your practice logo to the notes header. To import the logo from your local folder, click the icon shown in the screenshot below.

In the Insert Image screen, click the Select Files button to upload the logo from your computer.

Displaying the Header on Compiled Notes

Once you've configured the letterhead, it will appear in the header when you compile notes. Refer to the screenshot below for guidance.

In the example shown, the practice details are aligned to the left. You can adjust this alignment to center or right, based on your preference.
