CPT® 2025 Updates

The Current Procedural Terminology (CPT®) 2025 code set, released by the American Medical Association (AMA), includes updates pertinent to mental health services. While the core psychotherapy and evaluation codes remain unchanged, notable revisions have been made in areas intersecting with mental health care.

Remote Therapeutic Monitoring (RTM):

● Code 98977 has been updated to encompass digital therapeutic interventions, broadening its applicability to mental health treatments delivered via digital platforms.
● Code 98976, 98977 and 98978 have been revised to include device supply for data access or transmissions, supporting RTM for patients, which can be integral in monitoring mental health conditions.
Code J0402 (Injection, aripiprazole [Abilify Asimtufii], 1 mg) has been added to the list of codes that trigger the National Drug Code (NDC) prompt in the EMR system

American Medical Association (AMA) fee update

Effective January 1, 2025, the American Medical Association (AMA) code for me will cost $4/user/month.

A notification about this change will be displayed upon activation.

Real-Time Updates: Enhanced Calendar Refresh Functionality

The new calendar now automatically refreshes every 5 seconds, ensuring that all updates are reflected in real-time. Additionally, the 'refresh interval' option will no longer appear under the calendar settings, as the refresh process is now fully automated.

Organization NPI in FHIR settings

A new field, Organization NPI, has been added to the FHIR settings. This field is required for groups that are already onboarded. Calendar Note Creation Functionality

The 'Create a Note from the Calendar' feature has been revised to improve its functionality. As part of this, users might need to re-establish their favorite note choices to build their list again.

New "Print as Image" Button in the Documents Tab

A new 'Print as Image' button has been added to the Documents tab to enhance user experience. If the standard "Print" button does not function as expected, customers can use this new option as an alternative.

Clinical Decision Support

The Clinical Decision Support (CDS) now includes a Feedback feature, enabling you to provide input when the CDS is replayed. You can choose to either export or print the CDS. The printed version will include the complete CDS along with the feedback provided, while the export option will display only the entered feedback.
