Managing User Invitations in ICANotes+

Overview 

As a practice owner or administrator, you have the ability to add new users to your ICANotes+ account. When a user is invited, they receive a registration link sent to the email address provided during setup. The registration link remains active for 48 hours. If the link expires, the practice owner or administrator must resend the invitation. 

 

 

Inviting a New User 

Administrators can invite other users from their practice to join ICANotes+. 

 

To invite a new user, navigate to Settings > Account Management > User Management and click the Invite User button.

 

 

 

A pop-up window will appear, allowing you to enter details for the new user. You can provide their first name, last name, email address, and mobile phone number. Additionally, you can assign locations (sites) to the user, select appropriate roles, and specify their discipline. 

 

Note: The invited user must enter the exact first name, last name, and mobile number as provided during the setup while completing their registration. Be sure to share these details with the user. 

 

 

 

 

Refer to the example screen below for how to fill in the details. Once complete, click Invite User

 

 

 

An email will be sent to the user with the registration link.

 

 

 

The invited user will receive an email with the subject line: "Invitation to Join ICANotes+." This email contains a Register button. 

 

 

 

When the invited user clicks the Register button in the email, they will be directed to a registration screen.

 

They must enter the following details and click Continue.

 

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Mobile Number
  • Password

 

 

If all details are entered correctly, a success message will confirm the user’s registration. 

 

After registration, the new user’s information will appear on the User Management screen. 

 

If you need to edit the user’s details, click the Edit button.

 

 

 

An editable form will appear, allowing you to update the user’s information as needed.
