Patient Portal - Change in Patient's Email

Patient Portal - Changing Patient's Email in Demographics
 
If your patient has a change in email and the patient is registered for the patient portal, please follow these steps to change the email address in ICANotes and the Patient Portal.
 
  
 
 
1.  Go to Demographics from the Chart Face and change the patient's email. 

 
 

2.  Click the    button. This will return you to patient's Chart Face.  
 
 
3.  Click the   tab button. 
 
 
4.  Click the Portal toggle to disable the portal.
 
 

When you do so, the following pop-up will appear:
 
 
 
Click 'Deactivate' to continue.
 

5.  Once disabled  , click the toggle button again to re-enable the portal (the X will show again in the Portal field once re-enabled).  
 
 
6.  This message will appear.  

 
 
 

7.  Click the   button.  
 
 
8.  Click the   button to return to the patient's Chart Face.
  
 
9.  The patient's email address has now been updated for the Patient Portal.
