v9.12 Release Notes (Release Date: May 8, 2026)

Overview

Version 9.12 introduces enhancements to reporting, billing workflows, and SMS tracking. This release adds new insurance-related filters in the Billing Worklist, expands filtering and data visibility in the Clinical and Demographics Report, introduces role-based permissions for summary reports, improves the Appointments Report export format with additional structured fields, and adds a new SMS Log Report to help track reminder delivery and client responses.

Billing Worklist: Added Billing and Insurance Filters

The Billing Worklist now includes a new eBilling / Insurance Filters section to help you narrow down encounters based on insurance and billing criteria. This section is collapsed by default. Expand it to apply filters.

Use the following filters:

  • Payer – Filter encounters by insurance payer. Start typing the payer name and select it from the list.
  • Insurance Type – Filter encounters by insurance type. You can select one or more options.
  • Submission Status – Filter encounters by claim status (Not Submitted, Processing, Error, Success).
  • Payer Ranking – Filter encounters by payer order (for example, Primary or Secondary).
  • Insurance Payments – Filter encounters by payment status (Insurance Paid, Insurance Not Paid, Insurance Balance Due, No Insurance Balance).
  • Has Secondary Insurance – Show only encounters that include secondary insurance.
  • Match All Selected Insurance Filters – Return results that match all selected filters instead of any single filter.

These filters help you quickly identify relevant encounters and reduce manual effort when working with insurance-related data.

Additionally, the Filters section is now expandable and collapsible, allowing you to optimize screen space and view more results as needed.

New SMS Log Report

A new SMS Log Report is now available to help you track SMS reminders sent to clients. The report provides visibility into message delivery status, appointment details, and client responses such as confirmations or cancellations.

Use filters such as date range, client, and status to narrow results and focus on specific records. The report also includes error details for messages that were not successfully sent or delivered.

You can export the report in CSV, PDF, or Excel format.

Access to this report is controlled by user permissions.

Update Payment and Posting Dates in Manual Post Payments

You can now update the Payment Date and Posting Date for posted payments directly from the Manual Post Payments (MPP) Worklist. This enhancement helps align payment records with bank deposit data and makes it easier to correct date entry errors. Select the date field and use the calendar picker to choose a new date. After you update a date, the system displays a confirmation message. Updated dates are automatically reflected in the Payments/Adjustments tab and related reports to help maintain consistent payment records across the system.
