If you need assistance with using the Medication Reconciliation, see our How To Use Medication Reconciliation (for medications) Knowledge Base Article.

If you need to change (decrease/increase) or stop a medication, always update (from a new note) the verb and then adjust the dose, route, and/or time as needed. Be sure all five fields are filled in as blanks are not allowed.
If the desired value is not in the medication list, you can free-text an entry to the corresponding dosage. Never leave one of the five fields (Medication Direction, Medicine, Dose, Route, and Timing) blank. For more information on how to edit the medication and dose for your group and future use, see our Editing Drug List Knowledge Base Article.
3. Once all of the information has been added for the Progress Note, click Compile this Note button to save the note and push the medications to the MAR. It's a good idea to electronically sign the note from the Finished Note screen, if you have an electronic signature.
