ICANotes Updates for June 4, 2020   Changes made to ICANotes in our June 4, 2020 release are described below. Please call ICANotes Support at 443-569-8778 if you have any questions or visit our HIPAA-compliant Support Portal at help.icanotes.com.   Practice Management Updates     Telehealth The Telehealth Session checkbox, found in note work areas, has been updated to include an informational popover describing the function of the checkbox. Click the checkbox within the popover to designate that the session was conducted via Telehealth.      Security Administrators now have the ability to view and change the Telehealth status of all users on their account. To locate these settings, administrators will navigate to the Security Center from Settings & Directories. The Activate Telehealth for User button is located to the right of Privileges and Restrictions. If the user is already enabled, the button will instead display the option to Disable Telehealth for User. The Security Center user list will provide a display of which users are Activated, Deactivated, or Never Set Up.  Note: this functionality is only available to groups that have the telehealth feature activated on their account. Use this form to request activation.     The Billing/Productivity Report and Patients Seen Today Report have been updated to allow for searching/filtering notes where the Telehealth Session checkbox has been clicked within the note work areas. This addition makes it easier to locate those specific telehealth notes within your reporting.     Injection Codes The ability to enter National Drug Code (NDC) numbers for injection service codes has been updated on all available service code line items for instances where more than one injectable drug was administered. Previously, this functionality was limited to just the first service code line entry. Additional J-codes were added to the list of service codes which will prompt the NDC entry. For a full listing of codes plus a review of the workflow, please refer to the Inserting an NDC Number for Injectable Codes knowledge base article.      Statement Settings (Individual, Batch, Superbill) Statement Settings Options have been updated to include new options: Hide Clinician Name and Include Modifiers. When the Hide Clinician Name option is checked for individual and batch statements, the clinician's name will not be included within the generated invoice. Likewise, when Include Modifiers is checked, any modifiers associated with the service code will appear on generated invoices. Modifiers will automatically be included in Superbills. Additionally, a new "Exclude Charges" field has been added to the Statement creation window which will allow for excluding Zero Balance, Zero Patient Balance, and Balance Belongs to Insurance. Click one or more of these options to exclude them when generating statements for one or more patients.      BillFlash ICANotes customers utilizing the BillFlash integration now have the option to review and create sub-accounts on a site-by-site basis within Group Level Settings and Directories. Once a site's associated BillFlash sub-account is established, following a data sync from ICANotes, it will need to be activated within your BillFlash administrative portal. Contact Support today if you missed a past event and would like to receive a recording link.   Clinical Updates   QuickNote The Clinical Note Without Encounter (CNWE) is now known as the Quick Note, and will appear as such in most areas of ICANotes where the CNWE was previously referenced. This includes the patient chart face and the New Note functionality from the Calendar. Two exceptions to the name change include notes created via iPrescribe and incoming lab results. For full details and examples of these changes, please refer to the QuickNote Knowledge Base article.      Treatment Plan The Classic Treatment Plan has been updated to include a Completion Date entry point in the Long and Short Term Goals. When entered, the Completion Date will be contained within the text of the compiled Treatment Plan.     Forms/Assessments The following forms have been added or updated and are available for all users: 1915(i) Independent Behavioral Health Assessment 1915(c) Independent Behavioral Health Assessment Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS) - Long Form   The ICANotes Team help.icanotes.com 443-569-8778
