You can send multiple file uploads to Upload Site as long as the documents are:
- For the same patient
- Within the supported file types (.jpg, .jpeg, .pdf, .png, .gif, .txt, .xml, hl7, doc, docx, xls and xlsx)
- Same category
- Smaller than maximum size of 20MB
1. Open your Internet Browser to the following location: https://upload.icanotes.com
2. Log in with your ICANotes Username and Password.
3. Enter in the Patient’s Name or Unique Number and click the button. You can also click on the “A-Z” URLs.
4. After locating the correct patient, click on the patient's name to display the ICANotes Uploads page.
5. Go to the right to Upload a document section.
6. Fill out the fields.
- Find a category for your documents (all documents will need to be uploaded to the same category). In this example, miscellaneous is chosen.
- Allow Group to View toggle.
- Date received (optional).
- Description -- cannot be used for multiple documents and will go gray if more than one file is chosen.
- Patient can View this Medical Record -- cannot be used for multiple documents and will go gray if more than one file is chosen.
7. Drop files or click to select files. Please note that the Description and Patient can View this Medical Record fields are grayed out. If you placed a file you do not want to upload, simply click the x next to the file name to delete it from the list.
When ready, click the button.
8. The files will start to upload into the category you chose and toasts will appear in the bottom right of the screen indicating success.
9. The files are now located in the category you chose. If you wish to move one of the files, click the edit icon by the file you want to move.
10. This file is being moved to the category of Prescriptions, date received is added and the patient will be able to view this file.
When changes are made, click the button.
11. The green toast will show in the bottom right indicating success. When you go the new category, you will see the file has been moved. Continue to do steps 9 through 11 if you want to move more of the files on this patient's chart.
12. The files will also be available on the Documents tab of the patient's Chart Face.
