What's New in the New Treatment Plan
Overview
The new Treatment Plan offers numerous new features along with an enhanced user interface and navigation. This knowledge base article provides details about the features included in the updated Treatment Plan.
What’s New in the Treatment Plan
Following are the details about the new features included in the Treatment Plan.
- Roles & Permissions: Only authorized users can view, add, or edit treatment plan details. A new permission has been added for the Treatment Plan in Roles & Permissions.
- Direct Access to Progress Recording: Adding a treatment plan now automatically directs you to the progress recording page, eliminating the need for an extra click to initiate progress recording, as was the case in the older treatment plan interface.
- View All Sections Sequentially on Top: Upon accessing the Treatment Plan, tabs for Problem-Manifestation-Detail(s), Long Term Goal(s), Short Term Goal(s), Intervention(s), Strength(s), Barrier(s), Plan Status, and Compile will be displayed at the top.
- Multiple Problems at Once: You can now add multiple problems simultaneously.
- Hierarchical View: The hierarchy can be found in the top left corner of the Treatment Plan screen, allowing easy navigation to various sections.
- Yellow Card: Details recorded in each section will display in the yellow card. Changes made in the yellow card will reflect in the Preview pane on the right.
- Preview Pane: The preview pane appears on the right side of each section. Changes must be made in the yellow card; editing in the preview pane is not possible.
- Long-term Goals: The 'Progress' dropdown has been added in Long-term Goals, offering options such as Working on, Partially Complete, Plans to Start Soon, Almost Done, Completed, and Decided Not to Complete.
- Short-term Goals: The ‘Time Period’ dropdown has been added in Short-term Goals, offering options such as Per day, Per week, Per month, Per session, Per shift, Per minute, Per hour, Per morning, Per afternoon, Per quarter, Per year, Per episode.
- Shrub Content Navigation to Specific Work Area: Choosing shrub content triggers automatic scrolling to the corresponding yellow card (work area) on the screen. This feature is particularly useful when working on smaller screens.
- Delete Shrub Content: Shrub content selected will appear in the yellow card, allowing deletion of entries. Edited shrub content prompts a confirmation before deletion.
- Plan Status: This new tab in Treatment Plan allows recording SNAP Assessment, BPRS 18, Review Medications, Review Diagnosis, and Justification of Care. Shrub content can also be recorded for Initial Plan, Progress in Meeting Goals, and Recommendations.
- Compile Tab: The preview pane in the Compile tab displays all details recorded in each section collectively.
- Ability to Include Meeting Details in Compiled Note: When compiling the treatment plan, meeting details can be recorded and displayed on the compiled note.
- Ability to Include Treatment Plan Members in Compiled Note: When compiling the treatment plan, team member details who participated in developing the treatment plan can be added and displayed on the compiled note.
- Access to Treatment Plans Restricted by Caseload Security: Clinicians who are members of the clinical team but have been granted access solely to the "Clinician's Charts Only" feature will only be able to view the treatment plans they have personally created. They will not have the ability to view treatment plans created by other users.
