ICANotes Updates for September 1, 2020   Changes made to ICANotes in our September 1, 2020 release are described below. Please call ICANotes Support at 443-569-8778 if you have any questions or visit our HIPAA-compliant Support Portal.     Practice Management Updates     End User License Agreement Update Please be aware that our EULA has been updated and all ICANotes users will be required to click ‘I Agree’ and ‘Continue’ in order to use the software going forward.     Filter Appointments An option to expand the Filter Appointments feature has been added. This will enlarge the popover allowing hidden or cut off filters to be visible.     Multiple Clinician Events We have added alerts when there are more than 25 clinicians assigned to an event. When trying to save new events with more than 25 clinicians attached, an alert will pop up. When trying to save previously created events with more than 25 clinicians, the alert will be visible on the Event Details screen.     Patient Account Reports Previously, when exporting a detailed patient account report using the payment date or posted date, users could select columns that contained no data to export. This resulted in empty columns in the export. These extraneous options have been removed.   September Webinars Our September webinar schedule is now available. Clinical Updates   Service Code Popover The 'Show Insurance Code Popover' group rule has been expanded to include the primary insurance payer for the date of service for additional note types. This information will be available in the following note types, as well as in the edit work areas section of the billing report: Primary Care Therapist (both new & old layouts) Complete Evaluation for non-prescribing users Chemical Dependency Nursing Play Therapy Couples & Family Therapy Dietitian Case Management & Social Worker     New Therapist Note Custom buttons that were previously missing from the Symptoms shrubs in the new Therapist note layout should now be available.  Additionally, improvements have been made to the overall functionality of this note type.     SNAP IV The SNAP IV Teacher & Parent Rating Scale form should be available in Custom Forms & Assessments within the next week.     MAR Chart Check A new feature to improve patient safety for patients on the MAR has been added. The MAR Chart Check allows users to compare the current MAR to the latest Clinical Order Sheet. The top row in both the Month & Day MAR views will be for a Chart Check with the description "Review and Reconcile MAR and Clinical Orders." The Chart Check row will not require verification or approval and cannot be Locked or Stopped. The Chart Check will be included when printing the MAR from either view. The MAR entry for the Chart Check will be added when the next med change is ordered and the note is compiled. Each following month will have the Chart Check record. A new area of the MAR Schedule shows a list of patients under the heading Chart Check Due. Clicking on the green arrow icon opens a screen with the Chart Check row above the side by side MAR list and most recent Clinical Order Sheet. Once users complete the Chart Check, they will click in the cell for that date's time slot to record either "Check Complete" or "Incomplete Check." If "Incomplete Check" is selected, a comment is required. More information on using this feature is available here.     Did You Know?
