ICANotes Updates for September 13, 2021   Changes made to ICANotes in our September 13, 2021 release are described below. Please call ICANotes Support at 443-569-8778 if you have any questions or visit our HIPAA-compliant Support Portal.   Practice Management Updates     Security Center The "Restrict to their own calendar" restriction for individual users (via the Security Center) has been updated to apply to the Quick Calendar as well as the main calendar. If this restriction is already set for an individual user no further action is needed.     Institutional Billing/UB04 A new ANSI option for Institutional billing has been added, "Include PPS Code in Diagnosis Related Group," which populates a Health Information (HI) Code segment containing the PPS code value from field 71 on the UB04. Example: HR*DR:123~     Reports The following fields have been added as exportable options on the Billing/Productivity custom export: Type of Discharge and Status of Discharge. Please note that these values will only be populated when exporting information for a Discharge Summary note which has one or both of type/status filled in.     Group Rule We added a new group rule: Require MSE for Non-RX PN. When enabled, a non-prescriber (based on set discipline) will be prevented from compiling a therapist progress note if any of the ten primary MSE components are not entered. Security Administrators can contact ICANotes Support via email or at 443-569-8778 to have this group rule enabled for their account.     Patient Portal The GAD-7 is being added to the Premium Patient Portal as an available form for clients to complete. The GAD-7 is in addition to the existing forms included with the Portal. It is anticipated that beginning Tuesday, September 14th Portal Administrators can enable the GAD-7 from the Forms menu in the Patient Portal Admin login.    Upcoming Webinars Our webinar schedule is now available. Clinical Updates   Rating Scales The GDS Long Form has been added to the list of available Rating Scales within progress notes.     Labs The Lab Requisition Order Form has been updated to now include the patient's address, the ordering clinician's NPI and medical license number, provider signature capture, and medical record number.      CLIA Service code 87426 has been added to the list of codes that will trigger a CLIA number on claims for billing. For more information on populating CLIA codes into notes for claims, please refer to this knowledge base article.     Forms/Assessments The following forms/assessments have been added and are available for all ICANotes users:  End of Life Checklist International Trauma Questionnaire Katz Index of Independence in Activities of Daily Living PHQ-2 Safety Assessment Severity of ODD     Did You Know? Two Factor Authentication has been temporarily disabled while we solve a reported login issue.
