Kno2 Connection Error

 

1.  If you are receiving the "Login Failed" error message in the ICANotes Chart Room, go to the Kno2 website.


2.  Click the  icon in the top right of the window.  


3.  Select 'Organization' from the dropdown menu.

 



4.  Scroll down to the bottom of the webpage to API Settings.

 

 
5.  Click the  button to delete the API settings.


6.  When this warning appears, click the 'Delete Client Credentials for ICANotes' button.

 

 
At the top of the browser window, this message will briefly appear.

 



7.  Click the  button.



8.  When this warning appears, click the 'Create Client Credentials for ICANotes' button.

 



At the top of the browser window, this message will briefly appear.

 


9.  Click  button to get a copy of the generated credentials on your clipboard. 


At the top of the browser window, this message will briefly appear.

 


10.  Open a text program (like Word, Notepad, Wordpad, TextEdit) and paste the credentials (these will be needed later).

 



11.  Push the  button to enable the ICANotes integration.


At the top of the browser window, this message will briefly appear.

12. Enter the ICANotes whitelist IP addresses:
64.20.61.27
38.105.243.27
38.105.243.10
38.105.243.2

  

13.  Save by clicking the  button.


14.  The API Settings will now show this banner on top. 
Note:  Once you leave this screen you will no longer be able to copy the Key or Secret.  Be sure that you have copied the credentials before you navigate from this screen.

 

15.  Sign into ICANotes

16.  From the Chart Face, click on the settings icon  

17.  Go to the  tab.


18.  On the Integrations tab, click the  button.


19.  It is very important to copy the key and secret from the text program (see step 10) and paste into the fields in ICANotes as this will ensure that every value is correct.  Watch out for spaces at the beginning or at the end.
