Sneak Peek: v9.14 Release Notes

Overview

Version 9.14 includes enhancements to prescribing workflows, the Client Portal, reporting, document management, and ASAM documentation.

Highlights include the ability to prescribe multiple medications in a single action, a redesigned Client Portal interface with improved navigation, additional insurance and demographic filtering options in the Clinical and Demographic Report, expanded support for image file formats in document uploads and previews, and updated ASAM dimension descriptions throughout the application.


Prescribe Multiple Medications at One Time

Providers can prescribe multiple medications at once in ICANotes+.

This enhancement streamlines the prescribing workflow by allowing users to select multiple medications, add them to a medication cart, review prescription details such as quantity, days supply, refills, fill date, and pharmacy, and then send all selected medications to the pharmacy in a single action.

This feature is available from the Medications section within notes for users with eRx access.

Clinical and Demographic Report Enhancements

The Clinical and Demographic Report has been updated with additional insurance data columns and demographic filtering options.

What's Changed?

New Insurance Columns

The report now includes the following columns:

  • Primary Insurance Type
  • Secondary Insurance Type
  • Tertiary Insurance Type
  • Other Insurance Type

These columns display the insurance type associated with each payer and are available in report exports.

Additional Report Filters

The following filters have been added to help refine report results:

  • Primary Insurance Type
  • Secondary Insurance Type
  • Tertiary Insurance
  • Tertiary Insurance Type
  • Other Insurance
  • Other Insurance Type
  • Legal Sex
  • DOB Start
  • DOB End
  • Religion
  • Ethnicity
  • Race
  • City
  • State
Report Sorting

Report results are now sorted by client last name in ascending order.









Expanded Image File Support

The document upload feature now supports additional image file formats.

What's Changed?
  • Added support for uploading .jpeg, .webp, and .avif image files.
  • Supported .jpeg, .webp, and .avif image files can be viewed from both the chart documents tab and the portal, with image previews displayed correctly.
  • Updated the Client Portal message section to improve button and spacing layout.




ASAM Dimension Description Updates

ASAM dimension descriptions have been updated throughout the application to improve consistency and align with current ASAM standards.













Redesigned Client Portal Experience

The Client Portal has been refreshed with a modernized user interface and improved user experience. While existing functionality remains unchanged, clients will benefit from enhanced navigation, improved accessibility, and a cleaner, more intuitive design.

Key improvements include:

  • Updated registration and sign-in experience
  • Simplified navigation with dedicated tabs for Documents, Appointments, Messages, and Account information
  • Improved document review and form completion workflows
  • Enhanced appointment management and request experience
  • Refreshed secure messaging interface
  • Streamlined billing, payment, and profile management pages

Mobile and tablet support is planned for a future release.
